Fuel Leak

I changed my hpop o-rings this weekend and pulled the fuel bowl out to do it. Now I have a steady stream coming out of the bottow of the truck when I shut it off. I don't see anything when it is running around the fuel lines. The rubber pieces around the fuel lines were pretty chewed up but I reused them and there wasn't any leaks. Any Ideas?

is it coming from the passenger side, front of the motor?

I don't think so, when I shut it off it is pretty much a steady stream back by the trans inspection panel, I think.

Then it sounds to me that it is running out of the valley, Sounds like your are going to have to be on top of the motor to see this. Wish I had more for you Devin. The places that I have seen leaks before were ar the fuel lines, the top O ring, and the that damn fuel bowl drain.

I'm wondering if it is the fuel bowl drain since it seems like it is draining the entire fuel bowl when I shut it off.

That is what I am believing, but it normally leaks while running to.

True, I don't notice it while it is running though so maybe just an o ring that doesn't leak while pressurized. I just ordered the complete fuel bowl o-ring kit from guzzle so hopefully that will fix it.

Mine's leaking too and don't know where from. Put all new o-rings from Bob on all the fuel line connects but didn't mess with the drain. The dips in the valley are filled and it's leaking out the back. Not very much but it is. Annoying as hell!

I'll have to pull the filter cap to see if the fuel level is down since it's been sitting for a while.

Ryan, I believe you are leaking from your drain.

That's what I figure too Pat. Pretty sure I'm just going to order the kit that Bob's got for the bowl. Just got to pull the dang thing out again and I really didn't want to do that!

Guzzle's PDF shows the repair can be performed with the bowl still in the truck.
