Driveline question

First trip out with 11.5 foot camper on my 2000 dually PSD. I noticed from a dead stop acceleration the driveline shakes a bit. Once its going it drives fine. What do you think this could be? My truck is bone stock no mods yet.

I vote torque converter. Have you flushed the trans recently? Is the fluid in good shape.

Does the truck shake from side to side, or front to back? Or there is a shaking noise?

If it feels like a "clunk-clunk-clunk" and it only happens when you start from a dead stop, it could be that your slip yoke needs some greasing. It is the two piece driveshaft between the carrier bearing and your rear differential. My take-offs feel a little rough when I'm running low on grease. I have to do this about once a year. Takes about 1/2 hour (maybe an hour the first time) to do.

Here's some more info in you're interested:
