TorqueKing --- is that near Windward Parkway pretty close to the new Wallmart on hwy 9? There's a good BBQ place there that is a little pricey but is GREAT food --- they always give you too much to eat...
I don't really know what road it's on, I just navigate over there by memory. I come from Hwy 92, and go by Roswell HS, then I take a left when I come up to where you can see the Kroger up ahead, and it's about 5 miles ahead on the Left. Now that I think about it, you know where the Chadwick road county landfill is? it's less than 1/4 mile away. Let me know if this rings a bell! I'm looking forward to it, getting together this weekend, that is!

Glad to see some people wanting to get together again!!! I have been so busy here at work I haven't had the time to get on FTE that much anymore. But just name the time and place - I will be there...
I have got to find some time to get some work done on the X. Since it has gotten hot, I have devoted most of my spare time to getting some work done on the jet ski's and out playing on them. I need to find a good exhaust shop that does good custom work. The X has a leak that sounds like a thousand lifters clicking - and is about to drive me insane!!!!! I have a couple of other toys I have to finish putting on it, but will have to wait until I have more time for them...
Let me know what everyone comes up with. I know Ken has been running hard trying to get everything on the site and store squared away, but maybe he can get away for a little R&R one afternoon for a get together...
Hey Cobra, I'd like to refer you to the guys who do my exhaust work for me, it's a little redneck shop in Woodstock, but the guys do incredible work, and they don't charge much money.
example: I installed headers on my F100, the other side won't go on until you jack the engine up, so they did that for me, and finished off the system with custom-fabbed 2.5" stainless pipes and 3.5" dia. and 24" long massive chrome tips, which exit at 45 degrees behind my rear tires, and they aligned it perfectly just doing it by hand. total charge to me: $190
then I had a H-pipe cut in to my existing pipes, in front of the catalytic converters, $40.
lemme know if you're interested, they do great work, and they're open Saturdays, I have the number if you want it.
Everybody else, say the word and I'm there! Let's agree on a time and place, and I'd love to show it off. (hey, if Ken's there, I might even make Ride of the Week...)

CobraKing --- Don't forget Cartersville....travel northbound on 41 through Cartersville...just before Home Depot on your left will be the shop that finished Harrisons BAD-TO-THE-BONE exhaust. They actually opened up right there the year he was born!! To stay in business that long, 'ya gotta' be good!!....
My complete dual exhaust (including custom mandrell bending with 2.5" pipe to 3" chrome tips) was about $225.00....
Yes, you do have a better engine. Mine's pretty tuff for it's size though. Those pics aren't up to date, niether are the engine mods, but thanks for the kind words. Not a single thing is stock anymore, I'd love to talk, but I'll spend hours!

Were any of you planning anything for this weekend? I have to take the dash out of the X in the morning - had a vacumm line on the A/C to come loose and the air only blows through the defrost vents. That will take me pretty much all morning, and ddetailing it will take the afternoon.
If anything comes up for Sunday, let me know...
TK - if you could get me the number for the exhaust, I would appreciate it also!!
Hey Cobra, I havn't forgotten about you, I'm looking for the business card that I misplaced. You're probably going to have to look it up in the yellow pages, it's "Cherokee Muffler #2", Woodstock, GA. Sorry I can't find the number. I'm gonna be putting on my rollpan this weekend, and I gotta go get it painted tommorrow!

Well hello everyone. Sorry I have been away a while. I have opened my own Electrical company and have been real busy with that. I also bought me a bass boat, and have been fishing in what free time I have also.
I will not be able to do anything this week, but would love to do something in a few weeks.
