i just got a rebuilt holley 3310 carburetor, 4barrel, and i wanto put it on my motor. i was told that i need some kind of an "adapter" to go from the carb to my ford intake manifold....WHERE DO I GET THIS "ADAPTER"
What motor and what kind of carb is currently on it? If it's a Motorcraft spreadbore you might not even need an adapter.
Get your current carb off the intake and set your Holley in place with the secondary side of the carb facing the firewall and work the throttle by hand. If the throttle opens all the way and the throttle plates don't bind against the intake, bolt it on and go!
