MSD box location?

Has anyone mounted a MSD ignition box under the hood of their truck? If so, where did you end up mounting the unit. I cannot seem to find a clean mounting point uner the hood of mt 95 302

I put mine on the inner fender liner on the driver side, but I think the newer trucks have the under-hood fuse box in that location.

You are right. I think that I can mount it there with some squeezing of the fuse box and air cleaner box, but I was hoping that there was another location I was overlooking.

I have an '89.

I placed my MSD box on the driver's side inner fender behind the hinge and spring, very close to the cab. It is a tight fit but it works.

If the fender were clear you would see the bottom of the MSD box from outside the truck.

If you need a picture, I can shoot and post one on Monday.

That sounds good. I will try to see if it will work on my truck in the morning.
