Aftermarket guages
My buddy just got a nice set of Summit racing oil press., volt, and water temp guages for his 92 F-250 351, he still wants his factory guages to work so we are using a T fitting on the oil pressure, no problem there. Question is, is there another place besides the one where the stock water temp. sender is too install the new sender unit?......Don't look like theres near enough room for a T fitting in the stock water temp. sender position.....Ideas?

Is it an electric temp gauge or the mechanical sensor bulb. If it's electric with a 1/8" npt sensor, I would use a heater line tee. There is no other good place to install the sensor. The heater line sees the same water temp as the EEC temp sensor, so it's a good spot.

Get some fittings from the hardware store and make up a tee for the heater line to hold the stock sensor, then extend the wire to reach. Put the bulb end of the Summit gauge in stock location in the intake.
