quick exhaust tips question
so i just ordered an exhaust for my 99 f259 v10 and was wondering if the tips made a difference in sound. I plan on having not tips and having it hidden under the truck so if anyone can help me out with info id appreciate it.

Anytime you lengthen the exhaust, then make the end larger, the tone will change. Kind of like different sizes of horns.
My Banks 5" tip adds a little bit of a deeper sound than some other exhausts I've heard.

^^^^ Yep....I added 4"x18" long SS tips. It gives it a magaphone type effect....I am happy with my tips and think it is the finishing touch that gives the exhaust its deep and mean as hell sound
