Does or has anyone run the Fitch Fuel Catalyst in their 5.4L Super Duty? If so, what results have you seen? Any power or mileage increases?
I just bought a 2008 F-250 SD. I'm getting 16mpg on the highway. No complaints with that number, but if I can improve it, why not.
Also, what plugs are you using? Any benefit with a platinum plug, or are the stockers the way to go?
Thanks for the input.
I personally have not used that fuel catalyst, but I've seen it reviewed in Off Road Adventures (4WheelParts' magazine), and they gave it a pretty favorable review. I would be interested in slapping one on my V10 as well.
On my 1988 F-250. 460 cu. with 9.5-1 compression ratio. I went from premium fuel to standard unleaded fuel with the use of the fitch fuel catalyst. I got the in line unit and it came with the exact fittings to hook up and all the instructions were very easy too understand. As far fuel mileage I could not tell a difference because I dropped in octane fuel levels. But I was still saving lots of money.
Before the fitch fuel C.. my motor would knock like crazy on standard fuel. After the Fitch it did not knock
