automatic gear
I have bought a F350 crewcab 4x4 longbed , how do i find out wich gearbox i have ? i think it is a c6 but i am not sure.

who can tell me .

Count the number of pan bolts. The C6 has 17.

the year is 1983 , tommorow i will count the bolts .

should be a C6, heaviest duty auto avalable in a f350 for that year. Only thing stronger was the 4spd T18 manual.
