Trucks won't start after running.
I have 2 1978 f150 4x4's. A blue one that I completely restored and a green one that has a earlier restore job. Both have the 351m & auto trans. All stock.
They both start right up and drive fine when warmed up. If I shut it off and try to start again right away. Its as if the battery is dead. barely cranks, wait a few minutes,turns over slowly. after a while it cranks fine.
Replaced solinods, cables,batterys & starters on both. All connections are clean and tight. alternaters check out good.
This happens rarely on the blue truck but lately it happens all the time on the green one.
This is driving me crazy. Could it be somewhere in the switch?
