fuel line replacement
any one know of a good write up. the truck i am thinking of buying has a gas smell (the guy cleand the engine bay and said he used gas so that might be it)
but being michigan it will probably have to be replaced at some point. are the LMC truck pre bent lines any good? or am i better off bending it my self thanks

Depends on how much work you want to do. You can buy the lines, fittings and tools for a reasonable cost. But if you want to get pre-made here is another source: Inline Tube - Preformed Stainless & OEM Brake Line Sets

My truck has plastic fuel lines.....? My 87 was the same way...... Maybe yours is different but thats just my input on it. If you have a fuel smell it might be a valve leaking or something.. or even the charcoal canister. (or like you said he cleaned the engine bay with gas) I could be wrong though and you do have metal lines. Just dont see a use in replacing good stuff, thats all.
