Im so sick of the BS every damn year. Regular gasoline goes down (2.29) in my neck of the woods and yet diesel contines to climb up (2.65) because its getting close to winter so lets **** the guys who have to keep our roads clear. Bunch of crap is what it is....

I thought diesel was pretty close in the refining process to heating oil as well, so refineries are probably cutting back on diesel production to increase heating oil production.

I was just thinking the same thing. It seems unfair when my brother can fill up his V10 Excursion for under $100!!
Well both gas and diesel are both with in a few cents of $3 a gallon here and as long as it stays under $3 a gallon I'm happy. If/when it goes back up to $5-6 dollars a gallon I am going to wish I never sold my little Toyota 4 banger car and just kept the truck
Diesel has been steady around my house for several months now ($2.75-$2.79/gal) while 87 octane has been swinging 30 cents or so ($2.85-$3.15/gal). I've been pleasantly surprised.

You shouldn't really whine about those fuel prices to people in southern CA when gas prices just just recently barely went below 3.00!
I'm pretty sure you/we would complain no matter what the price. Two springs ago, we were paying over $5/gal for diesel. You didn't hear me compaining, did you? Well okay, I might have complained a little.
Anything under $3 is a bargain. Enjoy it while you can.
We in So Cal are paying right at $3/gal for RUL. Oddly, our diesel is currently cheaper than gas.
