Cold start issue
I figure its probably glow plugs, and not the relay or fuel system...
cold start, turn on "wait to start" light goes off, switch that on 3 times then turn it for about 7 seconds, then starts to sputter then runs fine...
however, when its been running for a while, then i turn it on "wait to start" then i can turn it over right away no problems.... ran fine in the summer time..
what do you think?
on a side not, painted my battery tray, its now black and not "rust"

have you checked the relay. that is the easiest thing to check and i would do that first just to make sure. if that is good then check back and we'll tell you how to check your glow plugs with a ohm meeter if you don't already know how.
