F250 Stacks

im about to purchase a 2000 lifted f-250 7.3L Turbo Diesel with straight stacks, and was wondering if you had to cover them with flappers so no rain gets down into them. if so do u know of a place that sells them?
thanks

ugh, flappers. if you like the look then great. me, i like the slash-cut style of stacks best, and would likely just drill a drainage hole in the bottom

obs?

Maybe that's like "oppun" and I just don't get the language you're using?

ryman23, got an pics?

Also, what's with the divisions on those years? They don't seem to follow any specific model variance pattern. For instance, wasn't 2005 when they switched to coils instead of leafs?

There's a sweet looking Ford over this way with flappers, it looks good on the truck it's on.

Stacks? Not for me. Other than on a race truck, they just look silly on the road and waste bed space. But it's all about personal preference.

Is it just me or is the price a bit high? I know it is a good looking truck with some nice add-ons but in the end, it's still a 10 year old rig with 130k+ miles on it.

price is a bit high...the stacks look ok...I guess, but they tend to soot up your cargo, and the paint when started on a moist day.
