Rather silly question-how much oil?

I have being using 4 Gallon of Rotella synthetic 5w -40 for regular oil changes for three years now and I never bothered to check how much oil Ford recommends. So, what quantity does ford recommend for a 7.3 PSD? In quarts or liters please.

I always put in 14 quarts. It ends up right in the middle of the hash marks and the last half jug goes in the side door on the bed of the truck for top up oil as needed.

I've been using 15 qts for the last 307k miles and it brings it up to the full mark. No issues doing it that way for me yet.
