To all the hockey fans out there. How's your team doing so far? 4 games in and my Islanders haven't won yet. At least the #1 pick John Tavares is doing very well. Other than that, shaky goaltending, no offense, no muscle, and a very young team.
My Pens are off to a pretty good start.
Not claiming that they will repeat as cup champs because that is one of the hardest things to do, but do believe they will advance pretty deep into the playoffs.
As long as they beat the Flyers out of the playoffs, I consider it a successful season!!
I must admit, I enjoyed watching the Pens last year in the playoffs. The series against Washington was awesome. Crosby really showed what a great leader he is. Their team success is a great story. A few years ago, they were a laughing stock. Now they are a powerhouse and a potential dynasty.
since we do not have an NHL team in this area i wouldn't know? we do have the NHL's training and retirement camp down in Boston, but that's about as close as we come.
great organization when it comes to maximizing hot dog and beer sales but winning the cup has never crossed their minds!
Americas oldest NHL team is just a venue for selling concessions!

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH...apparently you're not a fan of the Jacobs family!!! I have a long memory...I remember the last cup...the Orr years!!! Good times!!!
Hey I'm from NY, but I was always a big fan of Capt Kirk. I even had his jersey when I was teenager. I remember wearing it in a bar in NY in 1994 during the finals. I still can't believe those nasty Ranger fans didn't kick my ---. I hate the Rangers and I loved Mclean. That was a great series.
