ok guys, was leaking coolant out of the back of the intake, so i replaced the intake gaskets, put everything back together and now i have no spark from the coil
I have a 92 F250 5.8l 351w
How can i check the plug that goes in the coil to make aure its hot?
checked it today, both the positive (+) and negative (-) are hot.
the fuel pump kicks on when i spin the distrb.but the light doesnt blink..
This might be a tricky one, any other ideas??
wheres the TFI module?
Checked the plug on the distributer and only one lit up, the only wire the goes on the engine, the rest were dead and all went to the big plug on the wheel well
checked the distributor plug and only one is hot, a red wire probably from the coil.
The rest of them all went to the plug on the wheel well and probably to the TFI module right? Should i keep checking for an open wire on the harness or replace the TFI module?
Well if the fuel pumps kick on when you spin the distributor then PIP sensor is working so it might be the ICM (TFI Module). It is located over by the firewall low and mounted on the inter fender on the drivers side,
