Drop to idle when driving

Hi i have F-250 SD with 6.0 liter and have been getting this problem with the truck. I be just pulling away from a stop sign and bang truck like drops to idle in rpm speeds and have no power in gas pedal and it flashes my glow plug light at me. What i have to do is let of gas pedal then step back on it and it goes again. I took it in to a dealer ship and i think they think i am crazy cause never happens when they test drive it or they say... But it got to point where the truck would not turn over so i got excited like the dealership will actually replace something. Well they replaced the ICP sensor and connector which kinda i have say made problem go away but now it is back happening again so i am guessing that the sensor is shot again i only put 20,000 miles on since last issues. O yeah when i fire up the truck on almost every occasion it spits out a big cloud of blue smoke wondering if anyone had or has similar problem and if this is what to do to fix it and if the blue smoke is related to this other issue???

my 04 had the same problem. The accelerator pedal assembly had to be replaced and all is well. The 6.0 is a fly by wire. There are 3 sensors that monitor pedal position. If they all don't agree the truck defaults to idle.

my 07 with 32,xxx just started doing that the other day. tugging and jerking while driving on the freeway. thought it was the wind. noticed it again yesterday but on city streets idle jumps way up then drops to 400. step on the fuel pedal and no go while the idle is low but then it abrupty jumps up and so does the truck. does it while on the brakes and even stalled on the freeway during traffic this morning. took it straight to the delaership and they call me with nothing is wrong with your truck. wtf????

i recently had the oil changed within the last 500 miles

I had to change mine. It would quit pulling and I would have to put it in neutral then back into drive to get it to pull. My 01 was a new petal and bracket. Five min to change and fixed problem. Yours seems like it might be more to it but ??

Oh yeah, dealer item. thinkin maybe $100, been a couple years.
