Hello all, I have a question for anyone that cares to answer. I have a 05 f250 4x4
with 35's I have a leveling kit I thinks it's a 2.5 inch and a add a leaf in the back.
It's almost time for new tires I'm thinking about putting 33's on it with 18 inch wheels. Just wondering if this would look ok or will the tires look to small?
Anybody have a pics? or would it be better to take out the leveling kit?
thanks for any help
Take care
DJ
Just my opinion, the bigger the rim the smaller the tire looks. My 37's look like 35's with the 18" rims. What size rims are you currently running? Also, food for thought, the bigger the rim size, the more expensive the tires become.
i think 33's would look to small IMO with a leveling kit. i'm sure taking the suspension lift off would be kind of a pain unless you have the tools and other stuff. i have a 2.5" leveling spring kit by ICON and have 35x18 tires. i think this set up looks perfect, i even replaced my F350 block with a smaller F250 block to make the truck sit perfectly level.
in reality though it's your truck and if a smaller tire won't bug you everytime you look at your truck then go for it. i see guys with like 8" lifts and 35's. doesn't look good IMO but i guess they think it does...

I agree. I have 6.5" with 37's and I think it looks perfect, up close. From a distance the tires look smallish to me due to the 18" rims. I think it would look better with 16" rims, makes the tires look bigger. Again, just my opinion. A 325/65-18 is a pretty wide tire, isn't it? What brand are they? My truck had 355/65R18 Nitto TerraGrappler AT's on it when I bought it, they were like 14" wide! If I didn't get such a smokin' deal on my Pro Comp X-AT 37/13.5R18 I would have gone with a 12.5 wide.
