Front cab supports 48-52
Some questions for those who have done front cab supports:
1. Can they be replaced while the cab is on the frame (ie how to support the cab)
2. How hard are the old ones to remove. They look spot welded to a bunch of items.
3. Does someone sell the upper floor board (firewall)repair panel?

1. Can they be replaced while the cab is on the frame (ie how to support the cab) I don't see why not. I'd loosen the rear and run a strap through the door opening, then lift up with an engine hoist or similar device. You can leave it suspended like that or put some wood between the cab and frame.
2. How hard are the old ones to remove. They look spot welded to a bunch of items. Drill out the spot welds or remove with a die grinder.

floor boards
Ross, I was going to replace the floor and support together. There in an indent for the support in the floor so I need to go with the combination. Looks like I will have to patch the upper part of the floor board. If the metal was not so thin I could patch the whole floor, its bad but not too bad, but its really thin.
