Im replacing my driver door. It has power windows, but the window itself sits in a bar. Which has the arm that slides into it. Now, where the window sits in this bar there is some kind of felt or rubber that holds it into this bar. But im in need of something to do this. Any idea what this stuff is?
They are crimped in to the channel from the factory.
Most replacements come with the channel already attached. (at least ALL the ones available to me 2 weeks ago when I did it)
Silicone may work for you, but I would use a urethane or epoxy to bond it in if I had to.
