bench seats to buckets
The interior on my 87 f150 is nearly perfect except the bench seats are starting to show wear. I am concidering changing to bucket seats. Any ideas on other years or other models that would fit and how difficult would it be changing to buckets? Anyone with pictures or do's and dont's.

Go to Truck Seats, Accessories, Replacement, Chevy, Ford, Express they have some 40-20-40 seats, high back individual seats, and they also sell adapters that fit the original mounting holes in just about any truck. Im thinkin about gettin the American Lowback's, just gota get the money for them.

These seats were taken from a Dodge pickup, similar to what the previous poster is talking about. It has a full frame under the seats, which then bolt to the factory mounts. I had to rework the mounting a bit, since they were for the Dodge, but if you were to buy such new, they would be a straight bolt in.
