broken rearend
hello im workin on a 04 f350 6.0 6speed 3.73 gears the carrier bolts broke and the carrier came in tow and just destroyed everything. I have a parts truck it is a 01 f250 5.4 auto 3.73 gears im going to swap that rear end in they are both the 10.5 with 3.73 gears just my ? is the 04 has the flange with 4 bolts to hook up driveshaft to rear and the 01 has the u bolts. can i just change the yokes out or just take the flange off and use the u joint or just use the 01 driveshaft if it is tha same legnth they are both ext cab shortbeds. any suggestions?
