199,000 miles was rebuilt at 59,000
and at 149,000 then at 192,000
had 212 code , which using Ford ICM corrected, aftermarket would not correct the code, but now have 452 code, and new Ford speed sensor does not get rid of this code.
I didn't like this 3rd rebuild, it shifted hard into 2nd and searches at speed over 45 and if you had to speed up it would bang into gear at highway speeds, but not all the time.
I have complained to the re-builder since it has been done and finally he changed the accumalator which helped , but trans now started to slip if
you have driven it at highway speeds for over 15 miles, then stop, it will occasionaly slip but then continue to work fine. Driving under 10 miles and under 45 it seems to work okay now that the accumalator has been replaced .
I'm not too comfortable driving it like this on any long distance runs.
The re-builder says he will try a new valve body.
It has thrown 637 TOT code but that code does go away.
Any ideas ? Could this be PCM, or another electrical type problem ?
Any help much appreciated.
