Dash Panel Lights

HELP PLEASE!

I am putting in a new wiring harness, and I have decided to replace all the dash lights with LEDs. However, they recommend that you put the same color LED light as the lens. The problem is that I didn't write down all the colors/lights before I tore the wiring out.

Can someone tell me colors and amounts of the dash lights (instrument lights) on a Ford F-100, 1963. Thanks so much.

If the instrument panel is the center section only there are a total of 8 lights. If you have idiot lights...

High beams = red
Left and Right turn signals = green x 2
Generator light = red
Oil light= red
Instrument illumination = white x 3

If you have no idiot lights change them to white. Remember the idiot light are red filters with the words embossed on them.

Thanks for the help. However, did you mean to say that if I HAVE idiot lights (not have NO idiot lights), change them to white? Confused a little here.

I don't think I have any...that I know of.

Idiot (Warning) Lights took the place of oil and amp gauges, which were an option.

If you have these two optional gauges, you don't have idiot lights.
