4wd conversion

I recently converted my 1992 f-150 into a 4wd. It was in excelent shape with only 51,000 miles on it. So I kept staring at the front and convinced myself to do it. It was really easy and I'll be gald to answer any of your questions.

Congratulations. Some pics with a technical write-up would go a long way. Did you put in a solid axle or swap-in a TTB?

Subscribing. I have a 1991 shortbox 2 wheel drive I am going to be doing pretty soon myself. I bought a complete 1990 supercab shortbox 4x4 parts truck to steal most of the parts out of. Im going with a manual tranny, so I still have to pick one of those up yet since my parts truck is a auto.

Tell me If Im out to lunch here, but I was planning on changing out both front and rear suspension. I havent read up on it for awhile, but I seem to remember the suspension being wider in the 4 wheel drive compared to the 2 wheel drive.

How long did the swap take you to do/finish?

I'm planning on doing the same, I'm parting out my 94 and will swap it into my 89 crew cab dually.

What do you estimate the time was that I took to do the conversion?

What "if I would have know" or "next time I will do it differant" moments did you have.

THANKS!!
