If you have time, look through several pages of the 6.0 forum for a thread titled something like "My $68.17 EGR cooler delete". I don't remember the author or I'd link it for you.

Why on earth would you want to reverse the delete? I live in a very tight emissions area for autos and diesels don't get tested at the tailpipe. As long as it doesn't put out visible smoke it's good to go.
The delete itself is enough work you'll not want to make a habit of doing it/undoing it. Are the results worth the effort? Yes!

Ah, I see. I mus be stuck in gasser mode. So really the emissions are based on the smoke output and not some sniffer test. Thus doing the EGR delete wouldn't make nay difference.
Also, I believe if there is the fear of an over inquisitive inspector there is a sneaky pipe alternative I have heard about. But I have not researched it much.

Hmm, that might be worth looking into just in case. Anyone shed a little light on this?
