Temp sensor test
Can anyone explain to me how to test my temp sensor. The needle doesn't move at all. I have an 85 f150 with 300 I6. If anyone can show me some pics as of where to look for it and what to do that would be nice. Thanks for the help.

Take the wire off the sender and ground it. Turn the ignition on, and the needle should peg to hot. If it does, the gauge is good and the sensor is bad. Just do it briefly so you do not damage anything.
