I havent been on here for a while. I need help my brakes hang up like i am riding the brakes the pressure wont release unless i let it set for a bit. I replaced the front calipers and rubber lines on the front, and back cylinders are new.
Can the master cylinder be holding pressure maybe i should change it anyway. Thanks for any help.
I just had this happen to me. I bought my truck back in May, and promptly redid all the brakes, including the master cylinder. I forgot to adjust the push rod between the power booster and the master cylinder. It was out too far and putting constant pressure on the master cylinder giving me the same symptoms you have. A quick adjustment and I was back in business.
Unfortunately that was after a 6 mile drive to the alignment shop - my brand new front rotors had turned blue! (and now they are warped....)
