Tranny Rebuild
Ok so im putting new bearings and synchronizer in my 4 speed granny low tranny out of my 87 f150. What special tools will i need and is there any links anybody has that can give me directions on how to do it?

Your best resource would be a factory manual either paperback or cd. You can buy them new at www.helminc.com if they are in stock, but they are expensive. Your next best solution would be used on ebay or buy a cd on ebay.

I would go to a transmission shop or a driveline specialty shop for blowups/help and parts/tools. a shop around here called bayshore truck and driveline has books, very knowledgeable staff and is fairly priced if not cheaper than most chains/retail stores. i'd ask around in the industrial part of your city. luckily my industrial part is where summit racing is

i jus googled t-18 rebuild and this was first, but im pretty sure all you need is a press/torch to do a rebuild

Generally, you should just neeg snap ring pliers, punches and a big hammer should be the more special tools you should need.
On a side note, I used to work at Bayshore Truck. A lot of those guys know their stuff.
