Does anyone own a platinum edition

4" pro-comp lift. Rockford door replacements, jl audio subs. 4" down to 5"back exhaust.Sct tuner. Tymar air intake. 35x12.5 pro-comp x-terrains. The guy who owned it before me started it out pretty good. I wanna add a three guage pillar with tranny, boost, and egt guages. Also want to stack another performance chip. Got a little hail damage at the moment but nothing a little pdr'ing can't fix.

Hi Tom. I know it's been a loooooong time, sorry. I haven't been around here much for a while.
The wheels are Welds, 20x10's. I don't remember the specific model though.

2013 Ford F-Series Super Duty Platinum Unveiled

This is a nice looking truck but doesn't hold the same "Platinum" meaning as the 2001 does to few of us that own the original release. 2001 Platinum Edition marked the milestone of Ford selling a million Super Duty Pickups. The 2013 edition is simply an option to make the truck use more comfy!

Bumping an old thread here.
Picked up my new to me Platinum the other day.
127k mile 5.4 (couldn't find a 7.3 for a reasonable price) with a manual transfer case. I was surprised because I thought they all came with the electronic switch.
Interior is in pretty good shape considering the age and miles. Exterior on the other hand......Dings, scratches and hail damage. Can't really complain since I picked it up for $3k under book. Only current mods on the truck are a si/do Flowmaster 10, rain guards, tint and a stereo.
Only pic I have so far and already pulled off the grill guard.
Plans:
2.5 Tuff Country leveling kit with F350 rear blocks
New shocks at all 4 corners
17x8/9 Chrome wheels-undecided which ones. Still need to figure out ideal backspacing.
35x12.50x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers
05/06 Chrome Grill
05/06 Headlights
Rhino line the bed
Led lights
4 Rigid Industries Dually spots that have been on 3 other trucks-Still haven't decided where to mount yet.
Eventually fix all the dings/dents and a full repaint.
Now first I have the dreaded 5.4 passenger exhaust manifold leak, so going to fork over some cash for that. Did a maintenance overhaul today and the truck already claimed some blood and skin since I'm pretty sure someone used an impact to put the oil drain plug in.
