crapiola steering stabilizer?
Hey guys, have a 2008 250 cc lb 2wd with 15,000 miles and am having a slight issue. I replaced the front brake pads a few months ago and some times when I brake the steering wheel will shimmy like I have a warped rotor, or pull one way or another slightly. It did not do this until I replaced the pads, is that the stock steering stabilizer weakening or what? I also have replaced the shocks with kyb h.d.'s on the front and bilstiens on the back when I bought it. The truck is loaded, but well within the specs, about 9500 lbs. total. I also get a slight bounce when braking sometimes, like a frame flex or something, but not anything serious. Have had a lot of trucks over the years, but this is my first cc lb, maybe this is normal? Any feed back would be appreciated. I looked for a bilstien stabilizer, but don't think they make one for this application. I know it is late now, will check back in a day or two. Enjoy your weekend, maybe you are finally getting some nice fall weather like we are here, may try some fishing tommorow.

I would first check the front suspension ball joints, wheel bearings, and tie rods for ware.
I ran my 2000 with no stablizer for a week with no problems. Thats with a an 8inch lift and 40inch tires.
I cant beleive you had to replace the front pads at 15,000 miles! Maybe you do have a bad rotor.
