starter motor wire routing?
Was troubleshooting some other stuff and discovered that the cable to my starter motor was rubbing where it ran up against the frame. Insulation was completely worn away at that point & it was throwing sparks every time it cranked (which, to my surprise, hasn't caused any other problems). For now I've just wrapped a chunk of fuel line around the bare spot, but when i replace it, should there be a cable clip or isolator or something there? Or is there's a way to run the cable so it can't happen again? Right now it just goes from solenoid through a sort of bracket thing that looks too big, against the frame & then down to the starter.
Thanks...
