Need some help here. Just read the codes on my 92 f150, 5.8L and i'm kinda confused. The first blinks were 1 -1/2sec pause- 1 -1/2sec pause- 1 -4sec pause- then repeats one time. After that I get 1-3-2-7-3-2-8-5-4-2-3-2-7-3-2-8-5-4-2. That is the end. No more codes after that. Waited for approx. 30 sec with no other blinks.
Please give me your best bet.
My guess is codes 32,73,28,54,2(last flash)
In order: EVP circuit below min. voltage of 0.24 volts, No KOEO for 73, VAT sensor out of test range, ACT sensor signal is greater than the self test max of 4.6 volts, and no code meaning for 2.
I have recently changed the plugs(less than 5,000 miles ago, cap, rotor, oil change, Drivers side valve cover gasket, will do the passenger side this weekend along with the egr valve gasket and the upper intake plenum gasket. O2 sensor done at same time as plugs. I have two new fuel tanks replaced approx. same time as plugs.
Reason for all the testing is that it idles rough at stops when warm and stutters and bucks (like it's missing) when I am in OD above 40 mph and trying to accelerate. Runs ok when under slight pedal pressure.
OK, codes:
327- DPFE or EVP circuit below min. voltage of 0.2 volts
328- evp circuit below min. voltage of 0.24 volts
542- fuel pump circuit failure
Forgot to mention I was replacing a fuel return line last night and relieved the fuel pressure with the inertia switch. I hope that is why the fuel pump circuit failure came on.
Now, since I do not have a catilytic convertor on the truck, would I still need to worry about the egr valve position sensor? Probably as long as the egr valve is still on the truck and not blocked off, huh?
Thanks for the help.

I believe so. It will also trigger this code if you switch between tanks with the engine running, although it really won't hurt anything.
You have a bad EVP sensor it will likely need to be changed. Your truck is a '92 so it shouldn't have a DPFE sensor. EVP stands for EGR Valve Position sensor, it is on top of the EGR valve.
Thought I would update the thread by letting you know that the problems with the truck seem to have been the plug wires. I have now put my third set on the truck and hopefully this works for a while longer than the last. I will also be in the market for plug wire sleeves. The asbestos type. Anybody know where I can get some for a decent price?
