I had two people giving me a hard time about restoring my 84 F-150. Is it really that crazy? I think it will be fun. They say I'm going to invest thousands and the value will be the same. I'm doing this for me, my tuck, I'm not going to sell it when I'm done. Does everything in this world have to be done just to make money? Is loosing money to do something fun that uncommon these days?
Thanks Ken for opening the month. Running a little in reverse today.
Justin, I have an 88 350 I am working at. I figure I have somewhere around 20k in rebuilding before I can say I should have bought a new truck.
Good morning Dave...Justin...Alicia...Maine-iacs everywhere!!!
Looks like all you active Maine-iacs are working on project trucks. The folks who tell you that they are bad investments are absolutely correct. Don't let that hinder you from your labors...the satisfaction you get will over ride the $$$ that you spend. And...when they are done...folks glances and comments are great for your ego!!!
Good Saturday morn to you all! It has the look of damp out there. Kind of bites, I have two horses to trim and They are outside. Oh well, trials and tribulations of quitting a desk job.
