I have a 2000 F150 4.6 4wd crew cab. I was going around a curve and the truck started shuttering badly....after a few miles it stopped. Any ideas? Tires? The driveshaft seemed tight wheel nuts tight etc. The truck does sit around alot and only gets driven about 3,000 miles a year. Amy suggestions are appreciated.
I am also getting a P0136 code... rear cat o2 sensor circuit.. cleaned the sensor and cleared the code it reset the code again. The engine seems to be running good, idling normally etc.
Update;
Found a frozen parking brake actuator keeping the parking shoes on the passenger side engaged. This may have been the problem with shaking, not sure yet!
The truck has 159K on the odometer. I will probably just let the cel shine as it is running fine.
