Driving to Tunkwa last winter is what killed the 351 in my truck last winter. Old ticker just couldn't handle the snow shed hill with the cruise set at 100kmph.

 

I have great memories from that lake haven't been their in about five years since my dad passed away but now that I got a little guy of my own I got to get my *** in gear and get going he will be old enough next year. How is that lake doing hope it not getting to crowded already was a popular lake

 

I sled enough to snowboard ie; ride up kick sled back down,snowboard to sled and repeat until too tired to walk.I am not a lunatic mountan sled man though,some of what goes on up here is nuts IMHO but to each their own.

 

Sounds like the words of an addict.LOL I know exactly what you mean,I was sport fishing the red coho for the past week just for kicks.It is about time to get me the winters worth of halibut pretty soon, was out a week or so ago but only got mud sharks.

Not bad just got back from taking the little guy out for his first Halloween. Lucked out on the weather a little chilly but no rain

 

Thats awesome man. Make sure you take pics of him. Did he get lots of candy?

It actually turned out to be a not to bad of a day. The spot that we wanted to go to was under water. To much rain in the last week and the water level was up, way up. Ended up going to another spot, but alas, the water was to high there also. Atleast I got to get the line wet, and try out the new fly rod for a bit, before it got to cold and we headed into town. We did get to see the sun in between the the rain.
