98 explorer 4x4 question?

does anyone know if they make lockouts for the front hubs of a 1998 explorer?? it has full time 4 wheel drive now with push button hi and low switch on the dash.

i was wondering if i could put lockouts in the hubs to make the wheels free spinning to save on gas.

You won't save enough gas to pay for changing the hubs. It's not "full time", it's "automatic" 4x4. If the rear wheels slip, it kicks into 4x4 automatically. You can feel this under most conditions.
