Another pre-wiring question. Just saw the one about the doors & thought I'd ask. Just got another ( used ) seat for my '91 F-150 & it has the power back support. My original didn't. Would that wiring be there & just need plugged in or does a new wire need to be ran to it? It is a Lariat XLT which if I remember right was like the top of the line trim package.
That's a tough one, if it was a Lincoln I'd say all the wiring is already there, but with a truck you pretty much need to pull the carpet and see what's going on. Owning a '90 XLT Lariat myself, I don't recall any loose plugs in it, but then again I'm not sure if power lumbar support was an option in 1990.

Thanks for the answer. Truck is in shop now anyway. They can always run another hot wire to it if needed. Just thought I'd use the factory plug in if available.
