Strange sound?!?
after picking the kid up from school went to the store came back out started it up (F250 2002 7.3L 160K)
there was a funny sound like a the fan was hitting something off and on. I thought it might be the tension pulley or water pump. the sound stayed the same while driving back to the house. belts look good nothing leaking. took it to the truck doctor and he called and said it was the water pump going out. that i needed to have the hoses replaced (original) and the thermostat and my resivor was leaking going to cost 811.00 i said is that pesos? or what?
the questions is am i getting overcharged?
