Hi everyone,
Its time to buy a truck. I have so many options its pissing me off lol
At first i wanted a diesel . Im not towing anything. I want a jacked up truck.
I kno diesel is a bit more expensive BUT LAST alot longer.. than gas engines but worried about the whole 6.0 and 6.4 so decided on 7.3.
But now i see i can get a huge gas truck cheaper..
What should i do? I do really want a diesel, but i only have somewhere around 13 to spend.
When do gas motors usually give out? i kno disesls go for about at least 300k...
also gas milage i want to be in the 17 to 20 range at least

with proper maintenance, the new gas engines will last 300-400k miles with no problem.
a jacked up truck with large tires on it will not get good fuel mileage.
to get mileage in the 17-20 range, you are looking at a Basically stock truck.
you should be able to pick up a 7.3 powered truck with around 100k miles on it for under $13 grand with no problem
