Hi all, I have been stopping by now and again but have not been posting much for a while. I ordered brakes today, Power Slot Cryo rotors and Hawk Super Duty pads. It was just over $800 for all four rotors and both sets of pads from Auto Anything. They have a one year price match and free shipping so if I find them lower I am covered there. The only other thing I wanted to get was some Speed Bleeders but they didn't have them.
It will be a couple weeks before I get to this job, and I plan on either cleaning up or replacing the caliper slide pins when I do it. I know about the bedding in process for normal brakes, but have never had rotors that were drilled, slotted, or cryo-treated. Is the bedding process the same for cryo rotors as for regular ones? I'm looking forward to the brake upgrade, especially if I can get it done before the weather gets too cold or nasty...
