Instrument cluster problem
I have a 2004 Ford F250 that has a instrument cluster readout up on the headliner. It tells you the average mpg, total miles to empty, temperature and n,s,e,w direction. All of a sudden it does not light up. I checked all fuses in cab below steering wheel and could not find one that looked blown. I use this all the time and I am getting ready to leave on a trip tomorrow morning so any help would be appreciated.

It's a common problem with the overhead displays. It's not a fuse so you can quit looking. The problem is a poor soldering job on the connections. If you poke around a little, you'll find several writeups from guys who pulled the overhead apart (carefully) and resoldered the connection...and then they no longer have the problem.
