Got a problem
Well its not mine - its the neighbor down the road. 03 F250 with edge programme on tow mode and 4" exhaust, other than that its stock. He went to start in the morning bout 10 dergrees C. Wait to start off as usual and it tried to fire up , got a couple of kicks out of it then it stopped. repeated the process this time it just ticked over wouldnt fire and there was white smoke clouding the rear end. That was yesterday - left it . Fired straight up this morning with no problems. Told him about you guys here but I would like to help him out if I can. Any ideas ??

Glow plug relay??
Quite possibly a glow plug relay crapping out. Next time it does this, open the hood. On the passengers side there is 2 relays. The one closer 2 the firewall is the glowplug relay. Grab a screwdriver, turn the key on and jump the 2 large terminals for 15 seconds. Now try to start it. If it starts, replace the relay.
