I have 92 on my 04 6.0 and have had only small issues. In fact I have been very happy with how it has performed. It's got a AFE stage 1, 4" turbo-back, and a superchip just to give you an idea. I was pulling about 5,000 pounds yesterday when I had my first small uh-oh, possibly more of an uh-oh. I was on about a 4 hour trip through the Texas Hill Country head home from the ranch. I was pulling up a hill running about 70-75 and something seemed to "cut-out" on me and I could hear it kinda suck for air or something. I was kinda worried about it, but didn't think to much about it. About an hour later it happened again pulling up a hill, these aren't huge hills, but sizeable. This time I noticed that when it "cut-out" , it blew a couple puffs of black smoke equal to the number of "cut-outs", around 3 or so. Didn't look fast enough to see if it did the same the first time. The rest of the trip home I cut it back to about 60 mph and it never happened again. I have no idea whats going on, except I thought it could possibly be a problem with an injector or something in the turbo going out. It was almost like it missed or something when it "cut-out". Sorry I know that was kinda long, but I hope it gives an idea of what's going on and if anybody has any ideas I sure would appreciate em.

maybe one of the moderators can bump you to to the '03 to '07 6.0 diesel section. them guys really know their motors.. and welcome to FTE.

 

Thinking you should scroll down to the 6.0 section of this forum,,may have a better responce there,,,,On to your slight problem,,,I wonder if your not getting a head gasket issue,,,The AFE intake could be dusting your turbo also,,,they say the stock intake is good up to 500 hp or so,,,and whats your Superchip hp setting at also ?
