We are up around Saskatoon this weekend, and doing some research into things. We found out it will will take 6 to 12 months just to subdivide the ten acres off the quarter. So I think we will be buying somthing around Saskatoon to live in for a couple years while we get things going on the acreage.

We are thinking about ten acres about 20min out of Saskatoon just off the 16hyw, to the north west of the city. It is only about 1 to 1 1/2 miles off the highway, which I like. I hate driving graval.

After looking around this weekend power and natural gas is only a 1/2 mile away on the next quarter. We talked with some friends of ours that put in geothermal three years ago in their new house and love it! With what they paid in comparison to bring in gas it was no more money, so I think we would go that route.

So you will be near Sheldon. Preppy. It sound like almost to Langham or just past it overlooking the river.
I saw one place that was being subdivided that is a big shallow slough. I hope that is not the place. It dries up for a few years and then it floods and your place could be in water. Plus you will be constantly surrounded with our Canadian blood donor the misquito.

No, its not in a slough. It is very close to Langham, about a mile south I think.

Not sure what road it's on, but I think we would be very close.
