Talking The donor victim

I'm going to build a Rat Rod Dually 1952 Ford COE and hopefully a set of old crank style wrecker booms and use a 89 GMC step van running gear that I got yesterday, 350-auto-dually/16in rubber, ps-pb, taking the aluminum box off now so as soon as I get my chain hoist beam moved from the house to the new garage I can start taking the COE apart for the swap. I emailed 48 COE some pics so as soon as he can stop working on his sleeper he will download them for me, I'll keep you posted on the progress, Garry

Garry That is the perfect donor truck. Good drive line and, most important, steering is pointing up. Should be an easy build.

Very cool! Are you keeping the large dually wheels from the COE? I absolutly love large trucks with normal beds on them like that, any more pictures?

Will be running 16" rubber, just too much frame on the coe, widow makers, don't want anything to do with them, too late to save the van body almost scrap by now, a couple more hours, Garry
