302 bellhousing pattern Q

Can someone clear this up for me please...

302 (D4DE) with a C6 mounted up. C6 has an integral bellhousing.

Will I be able to mount a C4 onto the C6's bellhousing pattern? If so, what else can be bolted to it?

Any small block tranny will bolt up, C4, C6, AOD, 4R70W, and E4OD.. last 2 are electronically controlled. You could also attach the small block M5OD and ZF 5-speed manuals plus any of the older T series with a small block belhousing.

Thanks Conanski, some idiot was trying to tell me that because I have a C6 bolted up I must have the wrong pattern on the block for changing to another trans because.....C6's were only built for Big blocks

Gosh, then you and I both have something that those guys say doesn't exist, as I have a C6 with the small block pattern as well...

They were usually found in vans and trucks behind a 351W, but could also be found behind a 351C in some applications. The one I have came out of a Ranchero GT...
