It is a VERY big turbo. It will require VERY big injectors to spool it up. I don't believe it would be a good turbo for a twin system but I am not that smart on twin systems though.
H2e is a good setup especially if it is modded. The D66 is good for up to stage I's
Ther H2e is 62mm and 66mm when modded. 76mm is huge but can be used with the proper mods.
You can drive it on the street OK, but it doesn't tow well, and mileage sucked on my truck since it takes about 2000 rpm to see any boost from it.
It's a High Performance turbo for sure.
Jim, what size injectors did you use with the sledgehammer????
like said above i would go with the h2e. i'm not sure how the sledgehammer would perform in a twin combination either, but i have thought about mounting a sledgehammer with a procharger..... probably won't be able to afford to do that though....
I ran 240cc A codes, 230cc Hybrids, and now 180cc Stage-2 with the 'Hammer in the race truck. S-2's are waaaay too small for that turbo, but it's what I had laying around.
I also ran the 'Hammer as the larger turbo in a twin set-up I did a few years ago with an H2E as a primary. It ran really well that way, but other issues prevented me from having a great set-up with them. So back to single now.
Well I was scraping the twin idea, sounds liek to much money. So no sledge hammer for me =( Lol I plan on a rebuild, headgaskets and stud, with a turbo and injectors.
