squealing noise
my 92 f150 5spd (i6) has been making a weird squeeling sound when i hit the gas. it only does it while im moving, usually in 2nd and 3rd gear. it feels like something is holding back the truck, as if the brakes are dragging and squeeking, but it seems to be coming from the tranny. my clutch has felt like its been slipping lately and this problem seems to be getting worse. i added oil to the tranny but i only had about 1.5 quarts. this seemed to lessen the problem until the truck got warm. i still need to top off the tranny fluid, but something is definatally wrong. any ideas?...the most i can think of is a bad clutch. sorry for the long post. -thanks
